2024 Festival Charity Information

Every year we donate part of our proceeds to local charities that specifically serve Central Virginia. We are proud to announce the following recipients as our 2024 Festival Charities.

Thursday, May 30th

Youth Life Foundation of Richmond

Youth Life Foundation of Richmond operates Learning Centers to develop leaders by making long-term investments in children from under-resourced communities. By supporting students academically, developing their character from a young age, raising expectations, and investing in their lives through committed tutoring and mentoring relationships, these youth will rise above their circumstances to become tomorrow’s leaders.   https://www.ylfr.org/

Liberation Veteran Services

Liberation Veteran Services (LVS) is a 501c3 offering homeless Veterans the care, resources and stability needed to rebuild their lives. LVS operates the nation’s largest low-demand program for homeless Veterans, offering personalized counseling, case management, meals, shelter, mental health counseling, employment training, and more. With dignity and respect at the core of our mission, we are committed to addressing the complex challenges facing our Veterans, including addiction, mental health issues, and PTSD. LVS has served more than 725 homeless Veterans with an 86% success rate - meaning 86 of 100 Veterans who successfully complete our program are able to live independently for at least 12 months. lvsrva.org.
