Each year the Greek Festival designates several specific charities in the Richmond Community, and donates a portion of proceeds to their causes. As the festival has grown each year, we've been able to expand on the number of charities supported by your patronage.
The Faison School for Autism: An autism center dedicated to providing resources for autistic children and their families.
West End Volunteer Rescue Squad: Volunteer EMTs who serve and are supported by the local community.
Beacon Tree: Beacon Tree Foundation provides information, services, financing and funding to families with at-risk children, to help them to pay for private care and special therapeutic facilities..
Hospital Hospitality House: The Hospital Hospitality House gives patients and their families "a place to call home" during their stay in Richmond. HHH provides lodging and non-medical services to families and individuals in medical crisis.
Positive Vibe Cafe: The Café is an active employer of physically and cognitively disabled persons, and operates solely on the dedication of positive-minded folks who see the bright future in a business that assists disabled persons.
Rebuilding Together: A volunteer-based program that repairs and rehabilitates homes and non-profit community facilities, helping low income, elderly, and disabled people who own their homes but are unable to maintain them.
